Face-to-Face Professional Development
Technology Integration Institution
The Tech Integration Institute is a three-day event that provides both foundational training and the acquisition of skills and strategies in the areas of using laptops as instructional and learning tools; understanding Internet tools; accessing teacher and student resources; and integrating student activities or projects. All participants will develop a student activity or project that can be immediately used in the classroom.
Tech Leadership Institute
The Tech Leadership Institute is a two-day event that provides district and school leaders with the skills, resources and confidence to effectively use learning technologies and the Internet to influence school performance, target areas in need of improvement and effectively raise student achievement by developing vision, planning and assessment and evaluation skills. All participants will develop a resource bank of online resources or an action plan, appropriate to individual needs.
Mentoring Workshop
The Mentoring Workshops are two-day events that provide the vision, structure, communication, and mutual benefits crucial to a successful mentoring program. Participants will acquire skills and strategies in the areas of understanding Internet tools, accessing teacher and student resources, mentoring peers and integrating student activities and projects. All participants will develop a student activity or project that can be used with other teachers in a mentoring experience.

Coaching
The coaching experience is a systemic approach that provides teachers with 1:1 support in technology integration within their classroom environment. Our staff development specialist works with teachers through a series of sessions that include planning, lesson delivery, observation and feedback. Each participant receives lesson plan templates, online resources and tools that can be applied to their lessons.
Online Professional Development
Connected University
Connected University is an online professional development source that delivers comprehensive, high-quality courses and tutorials. By participation in courses, teachers become part of strong online learning communities, improve technology skills systematically, have access to courses that can be used to meet state certification and CEU requirements, and fulfill local needs for custom training. Participants have access to courses in the areas of technology integration, leadership, curriculum and assessment along with tutorials and how-to’s for one year. Graduate credit is available for many courses.

Online Student Learning
Connected Tech
Connected Tech is a K-8 Web-based instructional program that teaches students technology skills within the context of the core curriculum. Tutorials, lessons, projects, and assessments are carefully designed to help students learn today's most important software applications. Across the country, Connected Tech helps to build core content skills and necessary technology and research skills in K-8 students. Connected Tech provides teachers a strong framework around which they can build lesson plans that tap into the highest level of thinking skills and are project-based. The lessons and projects in Connected Tech are aligned to state core area content standards for student performance and are available for parents to access.
